Well just like that another month has come to an end. We are in the home stretch of 2020 and what an odd year it has been. Fortunately, for the home sale industry, things have worked out fairly well. Inventory is still low (has been for a few years now), but values are high (homes selling for about 1% to 3% above asking price in many areas.
In towns like Randolph, Stoughton and Brockton, homes were getting offers approximately 2 weeks after going on the market. There's a little wiggle room on either end, but if a home is priced right, it won't take much time to get a solid offer. Over 100 single family homes sold in those three towns last month. The market is still going strong if you have been thinking about selling.
