Did you choose your profession, or did your profession choose you?
It's a weird question but I ask because it can often feel like the job was right there waiting for us. Whether it's a family business, a higher calling, or just something you've grown passionate about, the right work often draws you in. That is how I feel about being a Realtor® and working in this industry. I love being able to help people achieve their goals. I love seeing the excitement of a buyer when their offer gets accepted. I love seeing the seller's face when they see how many people want their home. It's amazing to see that happen in real time.
The two things I enjoy most from a professional standpoint are problem solving and client satisfaction. Working late nights, weekends, and any time in between can be taxing, but the payoff is phenomenal. Realtors get to see someone check off one of the most important things on their life list. How great is that?
I've held all sorts of positions over my 25 years of employment (including Boy Scout Camp cook, Youth Program Coordinator, Jordan's Furniture sales, moving company dispatcher, and a fulfillment specialist for a benefit company). I've learned to appreciate them for what they did for me at the time. Real estate offers a new set of challenges, joys and experiences that I'm happy to take on. I'm also happy to get you where you want to be.
Let me help you find your comfortable place. There's no better feeling than going home.
Until next time,
Dave
