If you've been reading these blogs (and big shout out(s) to the one(s) that do(es)), you know that I live in Randolph and that it's where I grew up. You also know that I love a lot of things about Randolph like the food, the accessibility to the highway, easy access to public transportation, a generally budget-friendly cost of living, and wonderful pockets of nature tucked in between the streets and neighborhoods.
When I had the opportunity to buy the house I live in now, I jumped at the chance to buy in Randolph. I'm comfortable here as it's my hometown, but it was also very convenient to my wife's job in Canton and mine in Newton (at the time). Jamie's commute was about 10-12 minutes when she was driving to her office. My commute was about 30 minutes, but I was on the highway in about 5. You can't ask for much more than that when planing your day.
Catching a game at Fenway or the Garden is as easy to get to as dinner in Plymouth. Yard space to hang out in after a long day of phone calls, listing appointments and meetings is one of the keys to my SUCCESS! (promotional plug). For a house in a pretty busy thoroughfare to Brockton, Boston, Braintree and Quincy, it's very quiet most of the time. It is the perfect place for me at this time in my life.
Why did you pick your town or location? Was it for the school system? The cost? Is it commuter friendly? Do you love where you live?
If you do, that's fantastic. I wish you all the comfortable feeling that I get to experience everyday. If you don't, call me. Let's find you something better.
Until next time,
Dave L
