Are you a decisive person? Is it easy for you to make a snap decision on any number of topics? Where are you getting take out from tonight? What shirt are you wearing tomorrow? What will I do on my long weekend?
If you're the decisive type, it saves a lot of time doesn't it? If you're not, I'm sure things can get a little frustrating before they get easier. When it comes to making all of the choices associated with your real estate process, I want you to take your time, while also being cognizant of how delays can impact your home sale or purchase.
Home sellers have to start with one of the tougher questions. Who will they choose to represent them in their home sale? What agency or agent will I go with? Maybe you have a handful of relatives in the industry. Maybe your neighbor just sold and love their agent. Maybe you'll try to sell without an agent. A ton of choices and, depending on your reason for selling, a timeline that has to make sense.
Once your home is listed and offers start rolling in, which one do you go with? The highest offer? Fastest closing? Cash versus financing? All of these decisions to make with only about 24 hours to make them. This is where indecision can be a little problematic in the home sale process. If the market has inventory, your buyers are also looking at other properties. If you wait too long to decide, you'll lose them to another home.
When the time is right for you to sell (and right now, May 2022, is a great time to sell) hire an agent that will get you to the finish line in a way that makes the most sense for you. I pride myself on being that kind of agent. If you ever need anything, please feel free to reach out to me at any time.
There was no need for me to hesitate on making the decision to be here for you.
Until next time,
Dave L
